This afternoon I went for a stroll around Ruzafa with a friend. We could see the spectacular illumination structures that are being installed for the Fallas, and, most important, I finally managed to try the famous pumpkin donuts. I'm fascinated with the wide culinary uses pumpkins are given in this region...I hope to have the time to show you the many sweet and salty ways they cook this vegetable and, of course, to try them all!!

Esta tarde fue a dar una vuelta por Ruzafa con un amigo. Vimos las espectaculares estructuras de iluminación que están instalando para las Fallas y, lo más importante, por fin pude probar los famosos buñuelos de calabaza. Me fascina la amplitud de usos culinarios que tiene la calabaza en esta región...Espero tener tiempo para enseñaros las numerosas maneras dulces y saladas en que cocinan esta hortaliza, y por supuesto, para probarlas todas !!
